Hey, guys, some news about Uragano:
The most important italian car magazine (Quattroruote), in the new number (April 2008), Has wrote a small article on this manufacturer. The manufacturer is situated in Fontanelice, a small village near Imola (circuit...) and cars was made all by hand, using aluminum for body and Tubes and chrome-molybdenum tubes for the frame. The engine is a V8 borrowed from an old Audi A8 4.2.
The engine has been modified wih an addition of a big turbine. The current power is 650 hp!!
He began to build in 2004 only during Sunday and outside of work hours. He took about 3000 hours to build!
One thing is the impressive acceleration from 0 to 400 metres accomplished in just 11,7 seconds with an output speed of 210 Km/h.
0-200 meters are covered after 7,5 seconds!
Theoretical speed is 350 km/h...not yet tested...:-O
The car is not yet over. They will be placed panels and painted in yellow. Even the interior will be carried out thoroughly.
I hope soon to be able to take shots in its final form.
