^I agree, but it seems only the US decides to make TV shows about them.

Right on.
That show sweet 16 on MTV makes me shake my head.. It's insane how many kids get $1m + Birthday parties for their 16th, with the keys to new Benz.
Of course it's not the status quo though..

Only because TV stations around the world buy the shows to satisfy the demand of their viewership
And just for the record, understand there is nothing "United States" about any TV show - they are PRIVATELY funded, produced and distributed entertainment for profit productions...
To think anything else would be no less absurd than if everyone judged Australia as a nation simply by what they saw on Neighbours

but we are like the show neighbours...
And the reason why they are made and funded is cause there is demand by the public.. not the world public but american public.
Im not denying that there is spoilt brats anywher else but america but im just saying making it public is just plain embarrising.. how can those families walk down the street or that girl even do anything now that every1 knows she is alittle shit.. ?
i wouldnt employee her even if she was the last person on thise planet.

Oh but they do! If I had a buck for every time I was asked about having a pet Kangaroo, if we wash crocs in the bathtub, do we throw shrimp on the barbie every day, or some bright spark recited the 'fosters, Australian for beer' line, like it's the first time we've ever heard it.... Ridiculously, Fosters is next to impossible to find here.
*Steps off soap box. I know exactly what you are saying; there is always a shallow stereotyping. I don't think anyone on here would expect to find you on Sweet 16 though RC.

That's because it's made in the UK. It's brewed under licence by an English brewery.

Not a lot. Most Fosters is sold overseas and would most likely come from a licensee in the UK or the US. I think there's an Indian factory, as well, but the UK one is definitely there.

Honestly? Really?
I was happy as hell when i got my dad's 1989 dodge daytona in 1998 with 100,000 miles on it and the suspension completely shot out....
At what point do the parents get a wake up kick in the ass and realize that money...not them...have been baby sitting these brats...
(and it doesn't help having a popular U.S. cartoon called Bratz either..obviously glamorizing atrocious behavior)
