Kiefer Sutherland gets 48 days in jail
24 star Kiefer Sutherland has been sentenced to 48 days in prison on drunk-driving charges. He started serving his sentence last Wednesday. Sutherland has also been ordered to spend five years on probation, finish an 18-month alcohol rehabilitation programme, and pay a US$510 fine.
"There will be no early release and no good time work time. He will serve the entire sentence," a Los Angeles city attorney's spokesman said.
Sutherland was arrested in West Los Angeles in September for having a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 or above.
