Wow, why hadn't I heard of this jump? Anyway, there was no lack of basic math done on the ramp. They just seemed to forget that maybe Lincolns don't have the best aerodynamic properties at 280 mph . . .

At least the Evel jump over the snake river used something meant to pierce through the air instead of a brick.
