Jimmy McRae said the Manta 400 was his favourite rally car of all time.

I am actually in this film, although not clearly visible, my dad took me to watch the Manx Rally in '84, '85 & '86 - Happy days

Tony Pond in the Rover was always a big hit with the crowds, here in the 1984 Manx he finishes 3rd overall:
