Thx for the link. I think they are driving pretty close to the limit....the laptime would be a good way of telling

Mercedes says that this car can lap the Nurburgring in 7:45, so according to that it can go quite faster than in this video.

Huh? 7:45? That's SLR, 996 GT2, 997GT3/RS territory. I find that hard to believe.

...because, although I can't be bothered to look up the figures right now, but I would it bet it's heavier and has less power and doesn't have Gordan Murray involved in it's design. It's entirely based on a rather humble taxi street car. The SLR has a carbon fibre chasis. Helloooo?!?!
