That little bugger is fast. There is no question about that.

11.0 in the 1/4 isn't "that fast" .... its faster then a stock Enzo, sure.... but for a modern 500 hp n/a stock car? ..... then put a twin turbo system on it ... and AWD.... 11.0 isn't that fast

I didn't say it was mind-blowing, but 11 in the quarter is fast. It probably would have done better than 11 to, if not for all of that wheel spin.

Don't worry, I wasn't overly impressed or anything.

I know the guy who owns that car. Several things hurt the car in the 1/4.

1. It was almost 100degrees outside.
2. They have to shift approx 50ft before the timing traps into 5th, which hurts their MPH and Et.
3. Practice. They only ran it a few times.

On a cool day, its a low 10 second car on pump gas @135-136mph. In the heat BTW, they ran 133mph on another run.

These runs were also done on pump gas, there is a program to run more boost on race gas, where it should run right around 140mph through the traps.

Would you be willing to bring your SLR up to Wortsmith AFB (11,000+ ft. runway) for some friendly runs to 200?

We are going to be limited to about 50 cars.. people are welcome to bring in their own telemetry equipment... big side-by sides are in the works, as well as a full dvd being produced.

cars will be coming from all corners of the states

When is this? Where? What will the safety requirements be?
