Well, it's a perfectly understandable decision to sell the CGT and the SLR if you find them hard to get into! Cars are made to enjoy, and we all know that that is idiosyncratic and wholly subjective. I'm sure the new ones are just as fun, and now you own F430s from 3 consecutive years.

How the hell can I look for the rear end of the Carrera GT when I've been looking at the rear end on your avatar all night! Mags

Yes... I got it replaced this Spring when I took it to Cleveland for an oil change and lube. 8) Mags

Wow that was a big one! I do understand why you sold the SLR but the CGT! WHYY! . I know it's difficult to understand at this age those things but I do know that if they just sit in the garage and you don't enjoy getting in them then it's rather useless.
Well it's just so difficult to understand why people would want to get rid of CGT. I have LOVED the car ever since it was launched and I would give just about everything just to drive one, let alone owning one! It's a dream car for sure!
Why so many F430's , you must really love that car. Anyway congratulations on the new cars! Hope you have more fun in them than those SUPERCARS!

For now at least you can go around to the people who are in Ferraries 2 year waiting list for the F430 and say you own 3.

Oh that would go over real big! I'd probably get stoned to death! Mags

I checked with my second oldest son a dozen times this week to make sure :-/ and he says he is absolutely sure he wants the F430. He'll probably pick it up Thursday or Friday.
We are going to sell his Corvette Z06 to the dealer in Cleveland that bought 6 of my other cars and then he'll hop in the F430.
Just had the Spider out when I went to my weight training session. Ay, caramba! nfire: What a ride!

So would I! But right now they're getting at least $125K to $150K over MSRP!!! :shocked!: Talk about something being sick!
I am looking at trying to get one somehow but I'd like to be able to walk away with some clothes on my back after I'm done with the transaction! Mags

You sir, are a fortunate man and the decisions you make are yours to make. I enjoy reading your escapades and love the child-like excitement you display with each new acquisition and release.

WEEEELLLLL, I can't say I'm very surprised to see you sold 2 of your best cars ever... but mad? No.. not mad!
You haven't crashed them, haven't you??
It seems the F430 really got your heart! Two, and a third one coming?!
Well, about the CGT and SLR not being very "daily usable" and you end up driving them once a month... I have the solution for that
By these means... I volunteer myself to give a little ride on a weakly basis on your cars (even the Toyotas) so they don't get rusty!!
You know.. if you have a "boring" task like that to do, just give me a call!!
But, one thing I don't understand... why don't you keep any of your "old" cars?
I think the older one I knew was the CGT, probably one of your favorites.
You get tired of them? Don't have space?
I just don't get it!!
I can't even imagine what it is to drive a CGT, so I can't even imagine what you think!

Loved to hear again from you mags.
In my books F430s are supercars too, SLR being more of a GT and Well, I did like the CGT, there is just something in one for me kind of wanna-be supercarfreak.
Now that you enjoy your GT3RS; Porsche has recently leaked GT2 brochures, usability to the max with about the same OOOMPH as the CGT:
http://www.porscheguys.com/GT2.pdf
Strange that 599 is so high in price, looks like there is really frisky demand on them. Donīt know if you Mags ever owned F40 or 288GTO, you just might like one, at least depreciation should be next to nothing with those cars.
Anyways really loved to hear from you again, donīt forget us
