Ariel Atom all it's cracked up to be?
Lotus outrunning a group of Atoms at Pacific Raceways.
If the Atom was as nimble as it is said to be (sitting in 2nd spot on the Top Gear lap times) it should have been able to dispatch the Lotus without a problem, right?

To be fair neither of them look like their really going for it and the Atom gets over taken on a fairly straight piece of track under acceleration and their is no way a Lotus could over take one of those on a straight, also the Atom in question may not be a supercharged one...

the atom is the fastest accelerating car is it not??
if it can out run a lambo and a motorbike in the corners.. i can tell you know that the driver wasn't even trying.

i believe the atom driver let him pass on purpose. also i counted 3 atoms, lol what an event
