Default nordschleife with m3 csl

hi there,

i'd like to share a movie i made from a trackday at the nürburgring nordschleife in germany this april.

i'm not the ultimate driver on this track as it's quite difficult to remember all the curves there
so, the movie is not a learning guide for you all but i hope it's still entertaining.

download:
http://www.m3e46.net/files/2007_nordschleife_tuscan.mp4 (192mb)

i hope the webserver can stand your requests

btw: you'll need quicktime 7.x or a newer vlc player to watch the movie (h.264 mpeg4)

Thanks for the video "svenson69"! The quality is great, but you should've left the music out IMO.

Have you got it in another format such as AVI and without the music? Thanks

ok, two of you complained about the music

now, is it the song itself you don't like or is it any non-engine sound you'd like to be dumped?

however, removing the music would require a lot of audio to be re-edited (fading here and there), and in some scenes this would bring back the comments of me and my co-driver -- and i don't want to do that 8)

anyway, thanks for the feedback (1680 downloads so far).

Maybe because the BMW sound is better then the soundtrack, but ok

To me (and I think to most of us) it's a shame the music spoils the engine note of the CSL. We're car lovers here and I think the CSL is one of the best sounding BMW's, so personally I would've left the music out.

But it's still a nice video, thanks

ok, that's a good point - and i have to agree

but as i wrote in an earlier post, it would take a lot of time to re-edit the audio track, since i had to fade out the original soundtrack in many places to "hide" our cockpit comments

just removing the music, done with a few clicks, would end up in a terrible movie with high and low volume/loudness.

i hope you understand that i don't want to spend more time on this video. it took me days (one hour here, two hours there ...) to create the movie.

nice to hear that

i was just a bit shocked about the comments here... i also posted the video in three other (center european) car forums, and nobody complained about the music, some even mentioned they love it -- ok, maybe they love the song but not the song being placed in this movie (however this they didn't mention) well who knows

anyway, this wasn't the last movie from my csl. i have an airfield trackday movie in the works right now
