series being counted as a single dvd,i reckon i have well over 250,and now with the HD DVD's i have 4 of those so far

You have a library of movies. How much does the newly released movies on DVD cost in Switzerland.
I had 4 DVDs before the first kid was born. It is easier to justify buying of own movies also, when you're anyway buying movies for the kids every now and then.  |
New releases (big hits) are usually around 30 Swiss francs. The you have the collector editions for around 40, and cheap editions 20

dvd's are gettin cheaper here,find the right place and you can pick up bargains on even the new stuff,the new james bond movie,casino royale,came out here on monday and i bought it,the 2 disc special edition for £7!!!

Its 25 Euros here, most of the good DVDs are anyway, that why I download them hehe

I'm too lazy to count, but I would guess I have roughly 250 DVD's.
I won't be upgrading to the HD formats anytime soon, if ever. My friend installs high end home theaters, so it's his job to know this stuff and he says not to bother with it. He was at the last CES and was amazed at how quickly the industry wants to go to streaming instead. Also, the HDTV business is dirty business. Murders and all that jazz apparently!
He says we sould all buy upscaling DVD players and call it good. There won't be a winner in the current format war. It'll just slowly fade away.
