Did anyone read the article. This has nothing to do with the GOP.

This was a series of pre investigations by the police leading up to the GOP convention to ensure safety. I see no problem with it. In fact, I find it a little funny that they keep stressing well they had files on peaceful groups too.

Well uhh.. duh.. Your not going to know their peaceful till you investigate. Its not like they tapped the phones. They went to meetings or surfed the internet. If your doing something you want to hide.. Heres a hint.. Don't post it on the internet or have a meeting in a public place.

If you really think beyond keeping the protestors from blocking off city streets and stuff (which is illegal by the way) the cops really have anything to gain by looking at internet pictures and going to open meetings of political groups.. Well, you probably are overestimating their importance.
