In fact - it looks like a Lexus.
What's with the whole slew of buttons too? And does it have an MP3 jack?

You seem to hate everything about it yet you care if it has an Mp3 jack?
Planning on buying one without telling us

Lol. I'm not a big fan of these new "mini-exec" saloons (I think they're all a bit too safe and boring, but I love the CLS and the new Jag concept), but I am curious as to what the CLK will look like, hence my concern about the mp3 jack.
The annoying thing is that when I used to follow a lot of car design forums, wherein some of the members were actually employees of the bigger companies, they all whined about the same thing: corporate politics decide what designs will be used in the end. Hence near-perpetual repetition of interior designs and materials.
Jag's new interior is pure concept - pure designer. I pray that at least some of it, even just the dash, is retained. Volvo's inclination to change their stodgy brand image brought us that "floating" dash of theirs. I hope more and more companies follow suit.
It's 2007, not 1987. Wood interiors have been around since... 1937?! Git wid d tyms olredi.
