I think they also cap french TVs if they are not too far from France so they can have a chance to watch F1 anyway, or maybe through cable or DSL tv if they have it

I dont think our swiss gang watches F1 much anyway - don't see them posting too much in the F1 forum anyway.

i rarely watch F1 on swiss television, sometimes it's interesting when they have Peter Sauber aboard as co-comentator but most of the time i'll watch german television RTL.

this sucks
I watched the F1 on the Swiss TV, the presenter was quite good and Sauber as a Co-comentator with life link to the box was very interesting. Also there were no advertisment brakes inbetween.

thing is, that they wanted to increase the TV-fees by whatever (~6%) percentage but the government only allowed 2 or 3% ..... now they try to save money
it's true that less people watch F1 since Sauber left, but F1 still is popular IMO. There are lots of other thing which they could cancel to save money...

Like pzgren said, we can still watch F1 on german TV RTL (the advertisment brakes are a pain) or on the austrian TV ORF ( no commercial brakes like :good

this is really shit, but what i dislike more is that RTL is always about a minute behind at the end of the show...!!!

what i like on RTL is the good before and after show, with lots of interviews, information and so on...
