Hero
Every once in a while, you hear about a story like this, and you get a little more faith in our world and that maybe...we're not all going to kill each other:

Good work. A brave act to go down and save the guy. Lucky men.

yeah read about it yesterday, great guy respect... im REALLY unsure if i would've done the same thing with my daughters watching (assuming i'd do it at all, which is something that you can only know for sure when it happens... i guess almost every1 thinks he/she'd save a life, but most of the time when something happend every1 just stands and looks...)

Update: there has been another rescue in NY!
Two people have saved a 3 year old child in a street in NY when it fell out of a window on the third floor. The child has been transferred to a hospital but is, apart from a few scratches, totally unharmed.
Thursday, two men (brothers) saw the child from a distance, clinging to the firestairs of the building and almost falling. They started running and were able to catch the baby just in time. Later, on TV, they said that the boy was falling down with such a high speed, the boy landed on the chest of one of the rescuers and bounced into the arms of the other.
A spokesmen of the NYPD said that this was the "week of heroes of NY". Last tuesday, construction worker Wesley Autrey saved a foreigner, who was on the rails of a subway, from a certain death.
