We once had a Space Shuttle commander come and talk to us, and before he was an astronaut he was a USAF F-15 pilot. Someone asked him how hard it was to land the Space Shuttle, and he said; on a scale of 1 to 10 the F-15 was about 6 or 7, and the Space Shuttle was a 35! :shock:

I once heard the landing, sort of ,
we were staying in a hotel in Orlando, suddenly hearing 2 sonic bangs, and few minutes later, we saw the shuttle landing on TV 8)
