It's impressive indeed. I have seen something similar a while ago. It was a guy who could draw Rome after looking at it for only a few minutes. The thing was that he was american (if I'm not mistaken) and he had never been there before. He drew and drew for hours and at the end he hesitated for a while cause he was doubting about the amount of pilars and windows of a building. At the end his copy of Rome was perfect, it was just unbelievable.
Further on the show they reveiled that he wasn't a true mastermind, it was just that he has a superb photographic memory. So, he could remember things very easily without missing the slightest detail. It is just a gift he has. He isn't that good at maths nor any other things.
