Not sure if this is good here or in the Car Chat section?

This test have been done too many times to an extend that it doesn't even sound cool anymore.

Yeah thats it.
Its pointless unless the audi was going to take off at the end of the runway like the harrier and have a dogfight!
Thanks for the post though Harry

Another stupid car vs jet plane comparison?
Are the regular car drivers in the world this stupid they are in awe of each one of these pointless tests?
If these guys want to impress us, lets see them put their fastest race acr up against a.....

Do they even put the afterburners on?
I doubt anyone will be able to hang with a lightweight fighter, lets say F16 thats lightly fueld that has the burners on just off the wheel brakes.

Kind of a weak comparison, putting the car where its strongest, and the airplane where its weakest. Cool pics though.

Ok thats the third one i've seen in recent times, first there was the aston against the jaguar jet, then there was the ferrari f1 car against the eurojet, and now this although considering the jet they used it isn't that imppressive. I'm sure the gap would have been bigger had they used an F15e or somthing like that. But that Audi is a mother of a diesel racecar. Wins everything i reads about it in.

Many pilots of the time were the opinion that a fighter pilot in a closed cockpit was an impossible thing, because you should smell the enemy. You could smell them because of the oil they were burning.
