There were American bombs tested after that Russian 50/57 MT bomb, but their yields are classified. They were pretty fucking huge though judging by the videos.

That Russian bomb by the way, was a scaled back version of a 100MT design, most likely to make it aircraft deliverable (which it was).

The problem with super mega ton bombs is delivery.

The bear had to be modified to carry even the 50mt version. And the bear is a big mothaphuckin' bomber.

I read that the states officialy have not blown up anything higher then 25mt.

And that tsars bomb (50mt) was the most powerful device used in humanity.
