By FAR lexus is the best from what i have road tested. The Acura system seems sluggish at times. The Lexus system is my favorite.

On what vehicle did you test the Navi? Year and Model? Because the next gen system I am refering to is only available on the 05-06RL and was released an update only about 9 months ago.

I’m sure that the RDX will have a much nicer interior, NAV, Stereo, etc than the CX-7. But it will also cost 5 to 7k more!! As for performance they will be an absolute dead heat. The both have the same power, torque, and curb weight. Not to mention both cars are predicted to be terrible off road. These cars are only meant for city streets and light snow. So performance is not even an issue and these cars will certainly not give Subaru any competition at all.

Personally I would never pay that much more for interior crap, I would choose the CX-7. Then again I don’t even want that much power in a 100% ON ROAD SUV, I don’t have a boat or trailer to pull so it would be a waist. I would just buy a used CR-V with 160HP because it would be by far the best value and would work just as well on streets and in light snow as the others.

I still prefer the x5, and th pricing is a bit wrong yes, but firstly I like the new exterior more - there are many cool details that you don't see at first glance. Secondly, that diedel engine, the monster in the 3.0sd is 286 HP & 580 nm! That is something!!!
