Default 2006 Rally of Paris on the track

A nice event but a restricted paddock

I took a lot of action pictures of this cool event with a MERCEDES Clk DTM and a lot of FERRARI, PORSCHE ...

Enjoy

Naturally I agree with the rest of people that the cars level is terrifying (France in terms of car culture means very very much) and my votes for the best pics go to the every single porsche 911, the F40, and the SLK GTR although the elise look very interesting, the black 308 looks very sexy, and so on

However, the most surprising pic is the citroen BX 4TC (one of the 200 made in order to be homologated as a group B) since its very difficult to be seen even in car meetings, and I adore it although there is no point comparing it to the road versions of the pug 205 turbo 16, lancia delta S4, Audi Sport Quattro,....Furthermore, the BX has brought to my mind some memories; just how much the thing have changed in the WRC in the PSA group....for instance citroen, being the poor brand from the corporation in terms of evolutions, budget,.....was a complete failure in the WRC in 1986 whereas the 205 T16 was the best car. In contrast, in the last four years, despite the Xsaras age (xsara is the oldest car in the WRC so far) it has beaten easily the theoretically more modern and superior car, the rich brother the pug 307 WRC; even this year, the private xsara is able to beat the modern and works subaru impreza and ford focus

Big update! Everybody will find a couple of pics to save, I am sure I sure did

Do you happen to have a favourite in this big bunch, sl55? Since most of them are similar and only the car changes, I guess it's up to personal preference... I picked the Modena+Gransport one for now
