Default Europe 2 - MARANELLO

Yes, I´ve been to Maranello!!!!!!!
It is a small town that breathes Ferrari. Everything is Ferrari related.
That day there was a superbike gathering, only with Ducatis, CBRs, Ninjas, GSXRs etc, but 1 single F360 passed and I forgot about all the bikes...

Oh, of course, the pics:

Restaurant Cavallino (damn, it was closed since it was Sunday...)

THE factory

museum outside

F430 engine

F1 cars

F288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo, F360 NGT, F355 "World Tour", etc:

Everything is Ferrari...

I have been in Maranello about 6 times now, and I still like visiting it. If you have got some time than try to follow the test track on public roads, always a good place to hear some screaming Ferrari's.

And keep your eyes wide open and your camera standbye, because you never know what you can scoop, I took these pics in June and September 2005:

Default Europe - Monaco, Paris and Dreux *videos*

Hi!

MONACO

The best place in the world! I spent only one single day, but I can say it is perfect, not just for car and F1 fans, but for all those who want to put up a smile on their face. GO TO MONACO!!
And of course, for those who like cars, there is a plus:

Zonda F

The bay

Lets take an "onboard" lap through F1 circuit:
Finishing line

Going up towards the Casino

Left curve (Hotel de Paris)

Casino (the f1 cars pass behind the photografer)

That little straight where there is a bump and all drivers have to escape from it (the bump is where there people cross the street)

Curve where there was "traffic" last year, after a crash (are you understanding my descriptions? I think they are horrible...)

Everybody knows this one!

F430 passing by on this curve!

http://rapidshare.de/files/17118499/MOV02436.MPG.html

continuing...

view from above of the curve that leads into tunnel

same curve, ground level (schumacher crashed some meters before in 1996, heavy rain)

Entering tunnel (Senna crashed here while leading, remember?)

Inside tunnel

Tunnel exit

Chicane (those plants are removable)

Now f1 cars accelerate towards the camera and turn left (curve where Ralf and Fisichella crashed hard recently)

They keep going...

...and going... (wow! F575!)

...until La Rascasse (very slow turn to the right)

Then they can enter pits...

... or simply complete a lap!

Bonus:

Gransport

Panoramic view from "left side" of Monaco, where F1 races.

Panoramic view of "right side", where F1 doesn´t race and there is a stadium (I forgot the name of the stadium, Louis something...)

Then me and my broher caught a helicopter to Nice.

Hoped you liked it. Paris and Dreux will be up in a few minutes

Default Paris

From Nice, I took a plane to Paris.
Lets see what I found:

PARIS

Toyota store, Champs-Elysée (it´s a nice simulator, real size!)

Renault store (Champs-Elysée):

FIA (Place de la Concorde)

575 Superamerica

Hotel Ritz (Place Vendôme)

Dreux (where I had my "Ferrari therapy") in a few minutes!

Since it is related to the same trip, it is more interesting, IMO, to have them all in the same topic, they were ence merged
