Oh my fucking lord, that is some awesome roar!!!!
I think the straight pipe brings back some of the high pitch sound, but yeah, the muffler does ditch most of the high pitch noise the CGT famous for.

Well, it is true that they remove part of the high pitched scream, but the straight pipes are so loud that they are worth just to wake up the neighbouroud (and I mean in a radius of 2 km )

That's the first time I hear a tuned Carrera GT exhaust. I was wondering if the sound could be improved but I am not sure of the result ... I personnally find the sound of the CGT not "enough" while riding, while it makes a wonderful noise when revving.

Well thats the kind of sound you would hear at a track so it's a thunbsup for me. After hearing GT3's race at Indy with straight pipes, every stock Porsche i heard was utter crap.

I prefer the way it sounds stock. The high pitched whine that we associate with F1 cars (the main reason many love the way the car sounds) has been replaced with a low grunt more akin to a Dodge Viper. I still think it is a nice sound, but that intoxicating sound that it has with the stock exhaust is a better sound to me.

I'd like to know how much the car dyno'd at
The straight pipes do sound alot like something racing on the international circuit - but I'd stick with stock

Well...I think this is a case where Brutal isn't necessarily better. The new exhaust systems definitely add layers of brutality to the sound that the CGT makes, and with the muffler make it sound damned close to the Gallardo SE (though slightly less tuneful sadly). I much prefer the sound of the standard exhaust system. From the first videos I saw of the CGT lapping the Nurburgring in disguise the thing that excited me most of all was the incredible F1-like noise that it made. Having heard it in person and crawled all over a couple of CGTs...it's still the most memorable part of the package.

If I could get away with it, hell, if I could afford a Carrera GT, I would MOST Definitely run it no mufflers with just staight pipes. How could you not want to hear that eveytime yo floored it?

it shows the dyno results on their site! it actually loses a couple peak horse power but makes a nice improvement in the low end!
personally i don't think you can improve on the stock sound.
the low end improvement would be nice help to keep from stalling the car but again i'd keep it stock!
