i remember the episode - it was perhaps the most "skim-the-suface-of-the-issue" feature i have ever seen.

This is a very hard test to set up - there is an article in evo magazine a while back that feature tests of 95/98/99 Octane and premium fuels (Optimax etc.) and they couldn't reach any real conclusions. Look for the scan in the Mag section
