as for the Lambo's i would of rather gotten a Zonda!!

and instead of the SLR, a Enzo would be the way to go but ofcourse money talks!!

so, all in all in stead of having 6 cars, i would of gone with 4, F40, F50, Zonda, 959!!

and Welcome to JW, this place will become a 2nd home for you in no time!!

EDIT - oh and did i miss the post where you mention which previous cars you have owned or did you not mention that yet??
:drinking: Oh,Oh, Oh..... Thanks a lot. Now when I go to sleep tonight , all I'll be thinking about is a F430, Zonda, 959 and whatever!! It ain't bad enough I've become a JabbasWorld junkie, my finger tips are bleeding, my nose is running, my ass is sore and the cars are bitching me out for staying in the house and not exercising them. My girlfriend is due back home this afternoon from Las Vegas and I'm sure I'll greet her with a kiss and say HI JABBAS HONEY, HOW YA DOING! ***** Seriously, I love the F40 and would take one right now for the..... well you know! I'm superstitious so I'm not going to mention the car or else it probably won't start the next time I go to take it for a ride. The F50 is OK but it doesn't put me in heat like the F40 or Zonda does! The 959, nice, but I'll stay with the Carrera GT. Glad you all enjoyed the reviews. Michael

How much was the dealer asking for the SLR? I hope it wasn't 600k or something like that...

If you search, some are selling it for around 400k according to other owners. Perhaps even less if you take it with a few extra miles on the clock... Still, a very expensive car. 2-4 times as expensive as a Maranello, but not 2-4 times as good.

It's often the case with the supercars... something cheaper does the trick almost as well (or sometimes even better).

Eh eh, my "baby" SLR does just fine for me now :p

Remember, my last name isn't Trump, Gates or Murdock!!
Even then, I think one should also ask themselves the simple question of being able to devote enough time for each car

I think having 3-4 "supercars" is already great, and if you double that, you're halving the time spent with each one of them.

I drive approximately 20,000km's a year, and if I had 4 awesome cars I'd be spending only on avera 5000km's (a hair over 3000miles) on each of them, a year....

That's just not enough, you know, to correctly keep the engine and vehicle in general happy and in form (well, you gotta give them their daily/weekly exersize, no ).

As much as I'd like to dream of owning a 10 car garage, I think realistically, I'd just end up driving 2 or 3 cars regularly. That story of the Sultan's Nephews (or Brothers... forgot which), that would buy a new supercar on an almost weekly basis, trash it around and then leave it in one of their huge hangars once they got bored with it, just goes to show how quickly we lose the interest... a shame really.

Anyway, forgot to say thank you for the review of the SLR! Splendid =)

I didn't even assk what price they were willing to sell the car for but I know for sure it would be under the sticker of $467K (the $10,000 interior didn't help) because they were all over me like an old coat. Even the owner whom I've known for years came over and told me 'how nice the car would look in my garage next to the others!' Heck yeah, at that price it would look good even by itself!

Well - now that Paris Hilton drives one......... I bet that the price has dropped down to $100k
Heck, at price, I'll buy two and all you guys can come over and take the second one out for a spin. You gotta supply the women though! Paris is OK..... she's a pretty girl, dresses to kill, but there ain't no meat on her bones! Gotta have something to chew on you know! Besides, can you imagine that girl's attitude? It would cause a man to drink real quick!

Or try the Veyron. Some say it's quite the car, even thought it's three times as expensive then the SLR...

No, not really but (MAG - Midwestern Auto Group - the Maranello) or Byers Auto Goup (the Carrera GT) both located in Columbus, Ohio, one of them offered me a trip to Germany for something, can't remember what because the thought of flying to Germany made my palms start sweating. Besides, all these cars were in stock at the various dealers. Wasn't I a lucky stiff! What's funny about my fear of flying was that my Dad used to tease the hell out of me. He said "Listen you dumb ass (affectionately), you don't make sense. You say you're afraid to fly in an airplane but you ride around everywhere on those damn motorcycles in all that traffic with those crazy drivers. Explain that to me?" You know what... Dad was hardly ever wrong! I couldn't argue with him.

Yep TT, that's normal for me, especially since I've become a 'JabbasWorld junkie' I tried again with Jabba and hopefully between his instructtions that he voluntarily offered, I may have a chance to figure it out. If not, I'm calling on you (now know as 'the Master Blaster' to help me out! 8)

If you don't mind, give me a couple days to figure that out. I'll start with my first car ever which was a 1956 Chevy 2-door 265 c.i. 2 barrel with a Hurst 3-speed shifter on the floor! Isn't it funny how I think we all remember the first car we ever owned possibly the best of all our previous cars even if the memories were good or bad? I've got a pretty neat list. Remember, I probably fit in the category of a 'spoiled brat'! I think the brat part was only for several years. But I do admit to being spoiled as hell by Mom and Dad and would do it all over again if I had the chance. Miss the heck out of them!!!!!

I bet you are in the better position of most of us to have any of cars you had again just for the fun of it, none of them probably will cost as SLR

I am very curious about the list
