I know the feeling

Tried to go sideways on compacted snow/ice once with traction control off... did a combination of scandinavian flick + lift-off... was less than a feet away from hitting the curb, sure got the adrenaline pumping. Watching too much Tiff Needell can be bad for the health of your car

Next time I'm going to try that in a parking lot instead... more run off area to play with ops:
