Default Modern Sports Cars are so close - it's all driver...

right?

I mean here is what another bloke posted on the Z06 forum..

1st Place at Porsche Owner Club Time Trial
Last weekend I took my z06 to a Porsche Owners Club Short Track Series Time Trial at the Streets of Willow Springs. They are pretty strict on the rules there. That is good in most ways I suppose, but inflexible in others. I had to go through their school which is good for brand new track drivers, but it covered no new stuff for me.

I did get a friend of mine who is real fast in his GT3 to be my instructor on the track Sunday for the first three sessions and then they ran their time trial.

The attached link shows in car video of one of the three time trial sessions. You will notice a lot of Porsches getting passed. There were only a handful of Porsches running faster than my Z06. I ended up getting 1st place in their EX class for non-Porsche cars.

If you are wondering in the video why I don't take some of the passes when I clearly could, POC has strict passing rules. I can only pass at two places on the track, only on the left and only with a point by. While there were some really fast cars and drivers, you will see there is a lot of real slow traffic, too. Nonetheless it was a blast.

I am sure I know quite well how to post links... but unlike you that is the perfect speciman of humanity and never errs - I am able make simple mistakes, and apparently did.

The link is fixed... so blow me
