Is the F430 reliable enough to be driven on daily basis?

You are correct.

What a lot of Tifosi don't qualify is that very rarely is the 360 their only car, and if it is - then it is a garage queen for sure.

For them, daily driving rarely means 350 miles a week in stop and go freeway traffic, rain, wind or shine. ANd they would use the M5 or XJR for other commute duties.

And if it needs any TLC, it's off to the delaer for a zillion dollar oil change or nose powdering.

I met a bloke in Houston, whom traded his 360-F1 in on some other cars (a Porker and a Z06) simply because of the fragile nature of the car in daily driver situaitons.

Electronics issues, F1-gear box anomolies etc. he has subsiquantly bought another 360, a six-speed which he uses as a fair-weather Friday car.

But make no mistake - F-Cars are for the wealthier blokes, simply because theey cost an arm and a leg to keep in regular service.

That's just the nature of the beast.

Now it could be argued that the 430 is newer better etc etc... but only time will tell - and it's still won't be a "cheap" car to live with - it was never intended to be.

But it does make a good poser car for pooftas...

/\/\/\ I know the F1 cars always had plenty of issues, but I read a lot about 360s being driven for long without any issues......but I guess its more highway runs and open road, not stop and go in a big dirty city.
