Default Ferrari Track Day Pics!

Hey guys,

Today I went out to the Ferrari club track day. I was lucky enough to get rides in a Stradale, 308 GT4 and a 308 GTB. It was my first time taking track pictures with the D70, but I am pleased with the results. I just have to work on my panning a little more. I was shooting from 9am to 5pm so I got a HUGE sunbun, but it was well worth it !

Enjoy the pics,

Lucas

Yep very nice once again - I just wish they were higher-res.

Thanks anyway though, a pleasure to look at.

Thanks for some more nice pictures. I am saving most of them obviously!

BTW, what about posting a couple of preview thumbs in your topics? The pics are great but it would be more colorfull to post a link followed by 5 or 6 thumbs to excite everybody already

BTW, if I am allowed one "negative" comment: cropping all the pics at different sizes is a bit weird IMO. Is there a "why" behind it?

You did it again, some awesome pics. The panning shots turned out great. You apparently used a pretty long exposure time, longer than I'm used to use (my hands are not that steady ). These long exposure times result in some awesome panning shots. Did you had some bad blurry pics as well with these panning shots, or did they all turned out as great as the ones you posted?

You also have a good feel for composition. The way the cars - or parts of it - are placed on the pics is just terrific. You should consider making photography your profession. But I agree with TT, you should also try to crop the pics keeping the original aspect ratio.
