My german is not as good as it used to be, but its a nice addition to the Volvo range, I love the sound the "T" models make, i'm looking forward to seeing these around

How quick is the V70 T5? not that 6,9 secs is not good for the V50 or anything
It would be interesting I think to compare the 2 cars, as they are both good cars

I have driven new S40 T5 and the car didnt feel faster than 325i E46 I drove after it. I tried both cars up to 160km/h. S40 T5 didnt impress me.

V70 T5 is pretty quick for a big estate car, especially over 4000rpm it has a bit of a powerband thereafter - I drove the 5speed auto back in January when I was looking to replace the Trans Am.

I can't comment on the new V50 though, I've not tried it.

I have also driven the S40 T5 and it didn't really impress me either. It was nice, but nothing more.
Maybe it would have been better if Volvo didn't downgraded the T5 engine for the S40/V50.
