Mauro, I don't see any connection between Operation Falkland Liberation and the world cup which happened 4 years later in 1986, other than the fact that someone in this thread second-guessed me incorrectly?
Welcome to JW, Mauro. Now you should chill out and don't jump to conclusions so quickly
"Don't mention the war! I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it alright, so it's all forgotten now and let's hear no more about it. So that's two eggs mayonnaise, a prawn Goebbels, a Hermann Goering and four Colditz salads..."

Ok... It´s all ok.
I´ve just read "Excellent. Anyone who beats the Argentinians gets my support" and then someone talked about "the Falklands conflict was laid to rest in... 1982 or was it 1983? Maybe '84... oh wait... it's not laid to rest... hehe". It wasn´t me. I just can´t understand why those statements. BTW, that war finished in 1982 if I´m not mistaken.
But It´s all Ok. Let´s talk about cars, and about football if you want.
Thanks for the welcome, It´s an excellent forum.

Mauro, bienvenido che/welcome to JW
now you have seen the acid sense of humour that JW has. You're new and you don't know everything of the members history and their particular jokes.

the funny thing is, in the only game that really had some importance Brazil won soooo easily
Honestly, I hope Argentina works hard and reaches the same level of soccer than Brazil... the games against Argentina ain't funny anymore, because Brazil simply win all games that actually matter
welcome to JW mate! you have some hot chicks down there

Last time Argentina and Brazil played in a World Cup, Argentina won... I expect to happen the same in this next World Cup, but I know in this forum I´m alone in that hope All (brazilians or not) seemed to be brazilians!!!
Until World Cup we´re all friends. jajaj Thanks again.

Quite right, and then we all fall out, Germans, French, US, English, Brasil, Argentina etc etc
Anyway it is good to have diversity of people on JW IMHO

Spanish is our language, you´re right... It´s strange but in the last time, there are lots of american boys and girls here studying spanish. I think it´s very cheap for americans because we devaluate 2 years ago. Last Night I went to a hip hop club and I´m not lying: 40% were americans (ok... It was a hip hop club... but we´re in the ass of the world!) You know them for 2 things: They´re all half a head taller than us, and they spend lots of money in drinking. Very nice people. Very Gentle.
Someday brazilians and argentinians should tell you what cars we drive in here ... You will all start crying...

Viva la revolucion!
I don't think a Spanish language section of JW will happen though, it is preferred that we speak English here. Anyway, it is good practice for you!
Pero, si quieres practicar la lengua conmigo, podrias enviarme PM. Tengo advertirte que no puedo recordar mucho - no he estudio Espanol despues de 12 anos.
