Default Perth sightings (SLK55 AMG, GT3, 996TT, Arnage.....)

You remember the DB9 I saw last week? Well I saw it again today and waited for the owner to return so I could get my ride , but after 10mins I had to go so I missed out again.

Anyway here are the pics of what else I saw:

A nice MkII 996 GT3:

Then a 996 Turbo in yellow – better than the usual silver and blue.

I love this colour on the SLK55 AMG, it’s the first one I have seen and I love it!

A lucky shot of an Arnage doing 100kmh on the freeway. It’s the 4th one I have seen on the road – but none of them standing still yet.

An M Roadster with the new Euro-style plates - it might be the same one I saw a month or so ago just with new plates, not sure

E46 M3, no more pics since it started raining so I had to run back to the car!

BMW E31 850i – V12 power!!!

A couple of 996 Carrera’s:

I think that color on the SLK is known as Cubanite (old name was Pewter). A very neat color it is indeed. I know someone in Lausanne with a 350 with that color, looks pretty.

I do see a fair few of them, but unfortunately its usually a Carrera and not GT3's and Turbo's like this week.

Thanks for the info.

Coincedently I saw this car on the same day you and TT had your little meeting with the SLK55.

Lovely update, mate. The 850i is an awesome sighting. You don't see them that many. Nice GT3 catch too.

Better luck next time with the DB9. I'll cross my fingers

Not worth it IMO, especially if you get custom ones you will pay a fortune.

There are only 996 pictures, no 993's.
