Default Onboard video BMW V8 GTR @ TT Assen (race 4)

Here's the second V8 GTR onboard video of the 2005 Dutch Supercar Challenge season. The video features a great run from the back of the grid, towards the front of the pack in his class. The whole field consists of 41 cars!

The challenge is divided in three classes so he had to work his way through the lower class and the slower competitors in his own class. It's a 440 bhp powered V8 custom build E46 GTR with some new adjustments in the suspension.

Download the video here (9 mins, 77 mb)

Wow...that's some serious differences in power for two classes to run together...traffic is so heavy and slow. Makes for some exciting racing though. But some of the slower drivers seems a little unaware of what's behind them...

There are three classes actually. This car runs in the Supersport class. In front of the grid you will find the impressive GT class, featuring the new competition Vipers, V8STARS, DTMs, GT Porsches etc.

In the back the slower Sport cars, featuring ex. cup racers like the Clio RS, Clio V6, Alfa 147 GTA, M3's etc. The Supersport class is for the Supertourers and other high tech machines. You will see some ex. BTCC and STWC cars and these custom build 'beauties'.

Funny thing is, that the GT cars will find the Supersport competitors slow and driving in their way. Dog eat dog.
