Speaking of Aussie muscle cars we are in the middle of a purple patch of making the best muscle cars anywhere in the world. With Ford and Holden having an awesome battle. And the results so far for the rest of the world are the Monaros. But with any sort of luck you'll be able to see some of the Fords that are around at the moment, while I am an unabashed Ford fan they are truly unbiasedly awesome, for the price.

And I might add that coupled to our muscle car revolution we also have the best touring car series in the world (according to Yvan Muller and many others). Wonder what the Chinese are going to make of a whole heap of 1350kg, 630 hp, 5m long tin tops that look kinda like taxis flying around.

I've seen this car before and the passion the guy most have to get looking so authentic is mind blowing, lots of money and lots of time to get it like that. I am a diehard Holden fan but I must admit that this is one of the deffinetive Aussie Muscle Car icons

Doubtful...the movement in the US is definately towards hybrid cars. Especially after GM brought over the Holden Monaro as the new Pontiac GTO and it turning out to be nowhere close to the selling numbers expected for some reason...
