New Forester STi
It looks awesome IMO, hopefully this taste in styling flows into the new WRX, unlike those horrible british photochops.

Alittle small for my taste...after seeing the Carrera GT 14.96 inch brakes all others bore me really. I mean unless it has 6 pistons whats the point.

In all fairness I don't think the Subaru needs the same discsize as on a 2000kg+ Cayenne. And actually the breakes on the Cayenne caught fire after a couple of high speed test brakings in swedish car show "Prestanda"

For me , it's normal , I have tested a Touareg V10 TDI (sharing same platform and same brakes with cayenne ) in a test area for a automobile magazine, after 10 hard braking from 100km/h front discs caught fire

The performance might be decent, but I just hate the interrior of the WRX, STI, and EVO for that matter. Just so incredibly dull and IMO cheap looking. I know these cars are about the basics wit a lot of performance, but shit they're just soooo boring inside.

I really think it looks good except for the arse. But what exactly would it's competition be, a Volvo V70 R?

^^^ Lol. Blimey, and I thought I was harsh.
I don't like it though. Looks like something a builder would pull up in to deliver window frames. It has the same sex appeal as a garden tool.

I totally agree with you on the interior part, the newer ones are better tough.....and coming from you who drives a vette with the crappy interior that got it showes how bad they are......
|
Whoa..easy there! We're not talking about build quality here, I'm talking about features, ammenities, comfort, and just a pleasent place to be. I think the corvette is great for what it is. It has a much higher level of luxury features and comfort than the Subaru especially in a fully loaded corvette (which I have).
If you're honestly trying to compare the interrior of the corvette to that of a WRX / STI, I think you need to do a little more "in person" research. The Subaru is just so bare...so minimal. They're in totally different leagues.
I wouldn't catagorize the corevtte interrior as anything close to "crappy". It may not be the best, but it's far from being bad.

I think the Fozza looks better than the old, same way I think the plasticty old Liberty (Legacy) compared to the old one. I think it looks great!
If I wanted to buy a SUV I wouldn't look any further. Yes your Porsches and BMW's have better interiors but for 2-6 times the price they should!
Another V8 driver bashing WRX's.....
I like the minimistic interior, I don't see people bashing Lotus for their sparce interior. Sports car should have a simple design interior IMO. I wouldnt call the build quality of the late Subarus crap, averge but not crap. With the excepting of the new 2005 Liberty (Legacy), the GT-P and 3.0-R P. Luxury interior for family car price, great materials, finsish and awesome stero too. My refreance point is driving a 2004 Mercedes CLK 240, liberty isn't as good but close enough IMO.
Evo, however is kinda cheap compared to an STi or Std WRX IMO.
However the placement, seating, sterring, pedals, all the controls, are perfectly set out for me, the WRX fit me perfectly, as soon as I get it I have a direct feel of control over the car, in the end thats what matters more rather than a wood grain finish on the doors.

Unless the car can move theres no point in having them as big as possible either....after all its un damped weight we are talking about and I dont see the point in dragging around more weight than neccesary, I dont expect you to understand this tought.......
|
The porsche brakes are Carbon Ceramic and actually weigh less than regular brakes. I doubt youd understand this since you tend to suck at life.
