Exactly, no matter how credible the point you put forward is, you can bet your cock RC will try and discount it or worm hs way out of the argument. If i hadnt seen pictures of his daughter and such, i would seriously contest his proposed age. He wildly claims that we are all imature and trying to proove something about our mental age? It is RC who needs to fucking grow up. Chum .

Sorry, but diesel ARE noisier and smell MUCH worse than petrol engines. And most important.. the fucking microparticles.. they should enforce the damn filters at least. A diesel car produces MANY (thousands times more I think) micro particles than petrol engines.. and those damn things can enter your blood through your lungs.. it is just scary.

But beside that, even if some top of the line diesel engines are pretty quiet (still noway near a good petrol one), their smell is always the same and when I am in a city like Milano or Paris where diesel cars are much more common, I really smell the difference

i actually fully agree with you. I am not arguing that diesles are better than their petrol counterparts. I would take a petrol car, over a diesel ANYDAY.

I'm just arguing that RC's being a bit of a prat and is coming out with some appalingly shit comments which he is masquerading as arguments.

Seems you are wrong.

That's my point.

I never claimed any opinion was fact - I simply stated you over reacted to deriding TT's comments as child like because you thought they were not based on facts.

Interesting take on "for a 36 year old" behaviour. Just because I read and understand someones opion (which was fact based) and you don't - you get all huffy and angry, and I don't - but merely point out that the first poster was in fact correct - and you were wrong.

See - thats where you are wrong again, rooinek (red neck) has various meanings - and I choose to not take offense at it because I am in fact, by definition, a rooinek. I, however am no closer to a "red neck" in your terms than you are.

It's not just my "vein" chum - it's an accepted definition... And no - do not know what you meant - as I don't come anything close to resembling a white rural laboring class in the southern United States having a provincial, conservative, often bigoted attitude .

Wow - you sure do harbour and retain a lot of anger and hatred - you been keeping this all bottled up viz-a-viz the TG C6 review just waiting for an opportunity to throw it in my face? You need to take a laxitive old chap. And what facts would you like to have?

They werer your words - not mine, perhaps you need to adjust what you say if you want people to know what you mean.

All the anger and bitterness?

But that's the point - there is no argument - Lotus simply didn't like the fact that his counter to TT wasn't simply accepted by everyone - and the fcat that I of all people dare to counter his view point sent him off the deep end.

Back to topic at hand - the Open Signum diesel is a poor counterpart to it's petrol stablemate.

Well since I am more than 25 years old Im safe then...lol....

well I kind of agree with both sides...that being TT and Lotus....

TT got a bit carried away there for awhile and Lotus called him on it, no need to start WWIII over that TT dont....

when it comes to performance cars and style diesels cant never match a petrol engine thats not the argument either.....

Diesels can be great in their own way such as fuel consumption and brute force tourqe wise on a low rpm base.....no petrol engine can match it....

the point of all the millions invested on diesels are kind of not there, as there have been invested just as much money on petrol engines thru times....

RC dont be angry when we catch you on things you have said in the past, wich doesnt match what you preach later, we dont write post it notes to get you later on, its just that we are younger and our memory havnt gone flatline yet......
SENSE! sense at fucking last!

Your definately right, particulalry if poorly maintained, even our merc smells a bit sometimes when just started, The eco people argue that diesel is more economic therefore more eco friendly diesel motors are, but convieniently ignore the shit that comes out of the exhaust LOL. Anyone remember motorworld when jeremy was in india?? well it wasn't pleasant!

As for RC well we all know our daewoo owning friend likes to wind people up , its all in good spirit generally IMO and provides some entertainment. The only thing i disagree with is the arguing on age thing, i largely ignore that, especially online.

my point is WHY THE FUCK ARE WE ARGUING ABOUT DIESELS!! LMAO who really gives a fuck, people are allowed to have different opinions and i don't think we will resolve this arguement  Just all of you buy a mini instead fun and economical
