Wear Yellow to support the battle against CANCER!!!
hey guys, anyways, in part of goodwill, i'm just helping to promote the livestrong program...Livestrong program is a program part of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which provides the practical tools and information that people with cancer need to live strong...when you donate, you will receive a yellow Live Strong wristband to show your support for people who are battling cancer...for more info please visit www.laf.org or www.wearyellow.com

Yup... there's a bit of a band frenzy going on the uk at the moment.
Pick a campaign and support it 8) .... don't try and use it as a fashion accessory

Maybe you're topic should read:
"WEAR YELLOW to suppost the fight against CANCER"
or
"WEAR YELLOW to support CANCER PATIENTS"
When I first read the topic "WEAR YELLOW to support CANCER" I thought it was either a joke or just just someone that is a big fan of having cancer.
Just a thought.
Oh, I already wear one anyway.

No, i'm wearing my yellow livestrong band. The Nike store here also sells the same band though with a different word imprinted in a couple of other different colours. Which i'm not a fan of because it takes the novelty and individual message away from the Lance-band.

The other bracelets aren't detracting from the Livestrong message, if hardly anyone can identify their causes.

Ive got a nice little array lined up at the moment.
I got a livestrong band fron New York last month, and a couple of normal reebok 50 cent "can't knock the hustle" bands (non-charity)
I also have a green "Save Darfur" band to stop the bloodshed in the african country.
I only wear the livestrong (as i feel very strong about cancer reasearch, as i have lost many of my family members to cancer) and the blue reebok band, as i like the colour! I wish i could give a better/deeper explanation for that one, but i cant, i just like the blue

this is why im not buying one, i think to many people are buying them as a fashion statement and well im not one of those idiots, if anything i will buy one but wont wear it.
|
here in mexico...omg!! they're everywhere, and one of the worst things are that the bootleg/pirate ones are being sold at a whooping usd15 to the idiots and they're buying them
and maybe you've seen someone wearing different colors with words like pride, courage, etc. Aren't these bootlegs or just someone who is taking advantage of this fashion?
