Yesterday we went to the "Import Faceoff" at No Problem Raceway outside of New Orleans. It was pretty cool overall, probably wouldn't go back if they have it next year, but still fun. Of course tons of ricers, but also a few nice cars to look at.

Random turbo?
Although we saw a few people out on the track, the main focus with the drag strip. There were some pitifully slow cars (and drivers) out there, but there were also a fair amount of quick turbo Civics and such. The track was wet most of the day so they only ran 1/8mi until late in the afternoon...most cars were running the 1/8mi around 11s, the Supras, STis, and Evos doing 9s and a few dipped into the 8s region...even a Civic.
The bikes also ran...and shit they were fast, one stock looking Hayabusa ran a 6.5ish 1/8mi at 120mph...insane! I assume most of the bikes were close to stock, and they all did under 7.5sec...amazing.
