This is a great picture

Too bad they actually are diesels, but well, they must roam around all day long I suppose..

It is just weird to see the Police stickers onto a red car though.. only me?

The police over here have switched to red and silver cars, as they loose less money when it comes to selling them. As ever all about money.

hm, those are interesting. don't see those pics very often - red police car from a foreign country, esp w/ one of the most famous buildings in the world for a backdrop. stateside, i think almost all cop cars are made by us companies. (might even be a law.)

Bet the British car makers wish it wouldn't of been a German car in front of the Queen's crib...

Thanks God in Switzerland the diesel mania still didn't catch that much and while in countries like France or Italy diesel sales in the big volume categories are lately around 70% I suppose, around here they are way less than 50.. I think I read time ago something like 25%

Well there are some exceptions to the diesel stereotype, i must admit i never liked them until i rode in a few fast ones. Even my friends (chipped and modified ex police) Pug 306 was pretty rapid at overtaking. I've also been in some pretty horrible underpowered noisy montrosities though!. But i challenge anyone to notice (without looking at the rev counter ) that my dads Merc E300 turbodiesel is a diesel, so smooth and it just eats motrways!!
