but it is deff. a 4cyl FWD car, 3 dr. but if you look at the front bumber in the 3rd pic it looks like a focus bumber.
You'll find that alot of car Manufacturers that produce turbo engines in there cars, have plastic intakes. Its a really strong piece so its just as effevtive as metal, with half the weight.

And due to much more desirable thermal properties, you get waay less heat soak with some plastic intake pipes.

I think thamar was actually right, the latest 306's were HDI, they were quite quick, and common rail injection i believe, whereas the Tdi 1.9 which was the older one was the old fairly 'tractor like' engine. This one is a Tdi
