Williams' drivers arrive for team launch

BMW Williams drivers Mark Webber, Nick Heidfeld and Antonio Pizzonia arrived last night for the launch of their new livery for the 2005 season at the Bahrain International Circuit today at 4.30pm.

Director of Engineering at Williams Patrick Head and director BMW Motorsport Mario Theisen will also be present during the launch.

The BIC will also be the venue for a super car shoot-out tomorrow involving a Williams F1 car and the latest BMW M5 and M6 in a one lap challenge. This will be one of the highlights of a fun and action-packed day.

Bahrain's Mohammed Al Baharna, Hamed Al Fardan and Shaikh Salman Bin Rashid Al Khalifa will also drive a range of BMW cars.

The day is open to the public from 12noon and tickets can be purchased at the circuit or at BIC ticket outlets at Seef Mall, Dana Mall and Bahrai.

It might just be the angle of the car, but doesn't Williams new F1 car look more narrow than last years????

I love these "F1 Vs. Road Car" "challenges". It just shows the mind-boggling pace of the F1 cars.

someone should add a buttload of weight to the F1, to make its weight equal to the M5... THEN we'd have an interesting race.
