And my question is: "Why God, why ??" The Brera has to be one of the sleekest and sexiest cars ever. The only problem is that the chassis, transmission and engine are from Maserati. That thumping 400BHP V8 (the same one as in the Quatroporte model) is gr8 news, but I heard that the other two aspects are a bit dissapointing in Maserati cars. But maybe the Alfa team screwed everything in properly and did a better job

The Brera was basically a concept that showed how the new Alfas will look like. Its going to be produced though, not exactly like that, but its going to go into production. And its name? GTV. Yeap.. the new GTV is going to be the Brera.

Orazio Satta Puliga, one of the most important figures in Italian motorcar history to say:
"Alfa is a unique way of living and feeling a car. There is no definition that explains what Alfa really is. You can compare it with those irrational emotions, that sometimes have a human spirit, for which it is impossible to find a logical explanation. We are in the domain of feelings, passion of things that are closer to a man's heart than his brain."

ur prolly wondering what this is. This is THE eye-catcher from Alfa Romeo at the Genevan Autosalon. It was not sure if it was gonna be produced, or if it was just a concept car. But apparently the ppl form Alfa were so pleased with it, it was decided to produce it (this didnt happen in the end SADLY). We must be patient though, cos production is planned for 2005. Brera is the name of an art gallery in Milan, and its an appropriate name. The brera is a real piece of art. The brera is powered by a 400hp V8, rear wheel drive.
(after al lthe music, by the presenter: ) About a year ago, at Geneva 2002, there was an incredibly beautiful car at the Italdesign Giugiaro stand. No-one wanted to say wether it was a prototype or a production car. and now, we're at Zandvoort, and i can drive it for a few laps. Incredible. This is the only Brera in the world. (then comes the driving bit, he says he's lucky, blablabla, some more explanation of the name of the car, and for the 3rd time, they say its gonan b produced)

I missed that footage here in the Netherlands, so thank you mate!
Isn't that one of the sexiest cars ever made..? So beautiful, so poised...
With this and the new 8C Alfa could be once more the marque they were: grand.

I saw the Brera at the AutoRAI 2003 in holland, it's really one of the best looking cars ever. Only it was at a high platform so i couldn't see it as well as i would have liked
