Is this a prototype? No headlight covers and the mc12 has blue on the bottom

It looks like a prototype that perhaps will be launched some day...the cars width alongside the wings make the car look impressive.......

I think it isn't a prototype. Maserati built 12 of them, and this one could be one of them.

Thanks for reposting it, marktak . I havent seen it before.The caris absolutely marvellous and your sighting is completely awesome.It's a enormous rarity; and if its pre-production(25 cars, ehm..) prototype, you had a astonishing luck.Thanks, thanks, thanks again!

It will be used to race in FIA GT racing series and in order to meet FIA homologation rules, Maserati had to make 25 road going examples of this devil (Plus ~5 or something race versions makes a totla of ~30)
