Oct 03 - Vineyard-Tour (360 Spider, 996 Turbo a.s.m.)

Last sunday i spent a very nice day with my girlfriend(s new car).
We drove along the Mosel (engl. Moselle?) from Koblenz to Trier.
(One of Europe's best vineyard-regions!)

1. The car:
A smart Roadster... i know, it's not the biggest car, not the fastest, but it is really cool and funny - and a roadster.


2. The route:
Most of you wont know the towns. Anyway, I just want you to know, how the route looks like. Veeeery curvy roads, up, down, bridges, tunnels - the whole fun-stuff for a fun car at a fun day!!!
It's shows just a small sector, the complete route was about 2x 120 miles...


3. The countryside:

Audi S4 or just a nice A4?

After i took the 16th picture of that 996 turbo, the Ferrari blew by! It was a little to fast to react... thanks to the open road, i could hear it for the next 20 seconds - great!

It was a 7 hours drive. Perfect weather, perfect day!

I just love the 996TT with BBS wheels!

As for the Audi, it's probably a normal A4 equipped with a partial S pack and an S4 rear bumper

Very nice pics...indeed...even almost as good as TTs.....anyway...what some superb sights of the coutryside, the 360, the 911 (with the original wheels or the BBS), the Jags, the RS4 Avant, the SL, the Volga......even the Alfa GT....thanks for the good work

Nice trip and nice cars! I spent quite a few vacations near Trier when I was much younger, so I know the area pretty well. Lots of nice roads down there and it sure is beautiful! But, to be honest, the sweet white wine of the region is horrible...

What did you think of the Alfa GT? I saw one last week and think they look great, the best of the current range.

Me? I thought: CRAP!!!

We came out of a restaurant and and there was a darkred Bentley Azure!!! But my camera was in the car (parked 100 meters away). So i ran is fast as i could to get it... (i probably broke the world-record with 8 seconds!)
When i came back, it was already gone...
The Alfa was the best i could "safe" in that moment...

As for the Alfa GT, I agree 100% with dingo: in my opinion it is the sexiest Alfa you can buy at the moment and one of the sexiest cars of the moment too!
