Nice cars and pictures.
202mph from the rather bricklike Cossie with only 600hp seems - kinda.. oddly optimistic.
Any links the full specs.. such as gearing etc?

It's a insane fast cosworth and i think it can go faster.
9/04: Once again Performance Ford were at Bruntingthorpe using the latest Datron satellite timing gear, and confirmed that Rod Tarry's car had broken the previous Sapphire Cosworth top speed record of 183.27mph (previously held by Rod Tarry also) and the Cosworth top speed record of 188mph with a new record of 201.8mph in his 613bhp/507lb trq + 150bhp NOS Sapphire Cosworth!!! The first road legal Cosworth of any variant to pass 200mph!!! At 201.8mph the car still had masses of speed left in it, however, due to Bruntingthorpe airstrip only being 1.7miles long, the full potential of this car will never be able to be proven over such a small distance, as at 180mph+, the car is covering 3 miles a minute!!!

Definitely an insane car regardless its a 4x4 or the rear wheel drive sierra, it doesnt say the article if its the 4x4 or not, but it must be the 4x4 in order to get the best traction when accelerating the car, it has to be almost impossible to get used to the car on twisty roads

It's running 614Bhp with 508ft/lb of Torque.
Not for a 4 door cosworth sierra.

I has almost 800 bhp.
On the record run used 2.5 bar & more ignition so circa 640bhp +
130shot of Nitrous so around 770.
Here is a older video of rod's monster sierra.
