Why don't you think that? The torque is 760Nm compared to the S/CL 65 AMG with 1000Nm.

I don't care, I want one of these, the C32 is a great car but this is just way better.
You get used to not being able to always nail the throttle, driving my car in the wet is a good example.
more Lotto tickets this wednesday I guess

Why don't you think that? The torque is 760Nm compared to the S/col 65 amiga with 1000Nm.

true, and look at that car! remember the Top Gear review? the car barely moves when you punch the accelerator due to wheel spin.
this C-Class has even smaller wheels to grip it to the ground...combine that with lighter weight and even smaller transmission components and it's a recipe for chaos! lola.

To me it just sounds like you don't like Mercedes. When tested in AMS (swedish version) the S65 hit 100km/h in 4.28 sec. I don't know how fast your Audi TT is but I wouldn't call that "barely moves". And to me the tyres look pretty big. Last but not least, don't forget that the Kleeman C55K S8 has a 60% limited slip diff.

god damn.. i can't even imagine driving that beast... driving my dad's C240 sport with the 6-speed manual is fun enough... I just wish they made more manual transmissions.. especially because the quality of the manual isn't that nice compared to BMW

I love the merc of course....if i had enough money to buy id make some changes...perhaps id put some good manual gearbox such as Getrag, or Hewland...I dont mind if the gearbox isnt too soft.......the thing that id do with the merc for sure its just to change the badges, wheels....and leave the car exactly with the same appearance as the C55 AMG...thx for the pics Martin 100, they are great....

Great color too.
Did they paint it specially or is that a stock AMG color?

600hp in a c-class is going too far. Why would you spend all that money on a c-class with so much power. It will definatly have the same problem as the cl65, that car is way lighter than a cl so i can only imagine the tire smoke

Remember that it holds up with a Porsche CGT or Merc SLR in a 0-60mph race...
