The Shah of Iran's Muira SVJ (bought by Nic Cage) and the Frua-bodied Maserati 5000GT are both interesting stories, but my favourite would be the one about the Alfa Tipo 33 found with the keys still in the ignition and bought/swindled/swopped for a Ford Cortina engine + JVC VCR + £250!!
