On the other hand, though, i know why VW decided to stop calling its coupe scirocco and getting the name of Corrado instead......once a coupe car has to be beautiful, attractive, and once the italian designer are the bests when designing a coupe shape, VW decided to get this name once it sounds italian, and it gives a more italian image to the car and a less german image at a glance

then cause its a cheap car they released another new "chevy" designed here in mexico and also brought the corsa...

lol....let me see......for instance every generation of ford capri has had the same here in europe regardless the shape that you are talking about........its started being produced during the end of 60s and it end in 1984 as far as i know always with the same shapes although the trims and the improvements of the cars twice as far as i know

About the cortina, sierra, taunus....the cars that have been sold in Europe(the peninsule) have had the same name wherever you are(ive no clue about its renames in the UK)...for instance...the 4 door saloon fords were called cortina till the replacement of a new shape 1978, which was called Taunus(a car that i loved a lot by the way, due to the dinamic manners, and the performances of the big pinto engines...very brilliant engines by the way, altough its fuel consumption is big...the 2.0 and the 2.3V6)till 1983 that was replaced by the sierra

The really funny thing is that normal Euro/JDM Accord is the expensive Acura model in US and the US Accord is the expensive Honda Inspire in Japan
