Default what to do about SR20DET

i am looking at buying a nissan 240sx with a SR20DET engine or putting one in. I have asked around and there is no way to figure out how many miles are on the engines. What does every one think about it?

sorry i cannot help you, all but to say from what i hear they are good engines, but as soon as they start clocking up the big km's they start clocking up alot of money at the mechanics.

Usually a person that buys a used Sr20DET and transplants it into a 240sx has about 30-50ish miles on the engine. Its not like you're gonna keep the engine stock. what does it matter. jk.

if you go with a engine reseller that is high quality they will know the milage, i highly highly reccomend jarco, they are the best i have delt with heres their site :

wwww.jarcoinc.com

if you are too unsure about it you can always turbo your ka24, but it wont have the upgrade path or potential of a SR20DET
