Default Friday practice session British GP

RESULTS

Looks like the Mclaren MP4-19B is going to be strong this weekend after having a completely new aero package first seen at the french GP. Ones to watch tomorrow and sunday i feel although Schumi is always gonna be right up there, I reckon this is going to be a more competitive end to the season than the first half has been.

Nice to see both Coultard n button up there too

I think Ferrari can go about 0.5 secs quicker. Why? In first practice they were 0.4 secs ahead of the pack. For Session 2 they used "used" rubber and still matched the Practice 1 times. So with fresh rubber they would be quicker still.

I also think perhaps Mclaren may have been low-fuel to get that time 1.18.6 - Kimi improved by 2 secs from session 1. I noticed that Kimi did that one fast lap and then stabilized in the 1.19s-1.20s.

But yeah ... its good to see Mclaren competition to the Ferrari. Hope they can sustain that impetus into the qually and race

**EDIT**

Other points to note
- Fisichella beat Schumi in the end to P2. Too bad he is going to lose 10 spots because of engine failure in Session 1.

- Marc Gene is going as fast as Montoya. Whats up with Monty - is his neck OK???

- Jenson's got a new helmet - bit ugly in my opinion

True but at least McLaren now know they at least have the pace in the car compared to the previous version, Schumacher will be strong whatever, I just hope this race is a lil more interesting

These practice session times never seem to have any impact on the winner.

Sato must not know how to drive it properly. His car fucks up WAY more than Button's does....I don't think it is bad luck.

i think the reason sato doesn't know how to drive the car to let it last a race, if you look button doesn't but up very fast laps, he has been in the car for 2 years (sort of) and know to be easy on the car, Sato on the other hand is very different, he has a bad driving style for the car he is driving (he kills them)
Button and Sato drive the same car, button finishes races Sato doesn't = he doesn't drive the right way in the car
